Favela Chic

Next to the hotel I stayed in London there was a nice spot called Favela Chic. Favela Chic is an all-in-one restaurant and club, Brazilian style. A dance hall, a bar, an art space, a collective and so much more. The club’s success has spread over international borders, with a location in London and in Paris as well. Eat here at the beginning of the evening to make sure you can dance here later on. At 22.00 the place is packed and it hard to get in. The club also has a label that they produce tropics inspired club beats on. Baile-funk, ‘60s bossa nova, samba, hip hop and so much more, the dancing never stops. Once the party gets started it’s easy to forget that you’re miles away from Rio.
