Crash prevention?

Preventable, BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation, and the District of West Vancouver have joined forces to launch a campaign for awareness of risks associated with the road. The idea is to recreate the scene that a young girl crossing the road in pursuit of a ball. The realization, actually measuring 30 meters long, is not devised to scare the driver, but just to make him aware that staying focused and driving is essential. A beautiful idea which has the advantage of being significant, hopefully no driver is put through a wall to avoid the child. But the thing that crosses my mind is this illusion can be dangerous too. I can imagin’ that people get shocked and try to dodge ‘the girl’.
